Last night our neighborhood had a picnic at the park. It was a little chilly but we went and we are so glad we did. We had a really good time and met many neighbors. I met several moms with small children who stay home with their babies. Two of them help out with the Parents Day Out twice a week at the Church across the street from our neighborhood. That was good to know.
We have met so many nice people in Lubbock and our neighbors have been wonderful. We have gotten cookies, cakes, and a pot of taco soup. Everyone talks about how nice Lubbock is to raise a family. They say it may not be the best place to visit but it is a great place to live. Well said.
As for the pic, it's not the best. Russell was busy mingling and did not want to stop for a picture.
