Christmas in Cleveland

We got back last night from celebrating Christmas in Cleveland, MS. We had a great time. Jackson got to go to a train muesum and he spent lots of quality time with his cousins, Rhodes and Morgan.

Merry Christmas!

Jackson opened his Little People School Bus a few days ago. Here he is. He loves it and he can say "bus." I am sure you are wondering but the child does own pants. This was after bath time and we hadn't gotten him dressed, yet.

We hope you and your family have a Wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are looking forward to what 2011 has in store for us!

Jackson's Mickey Mouse books

Jackson got another gift from mom and dad - some Mickey Mouse books. He loved them so I snapped a pic later of Jackson and Russell having reading time in bed. Those two love to snuggle!

Mom's Group

Last Friday, Jackson and I met up with Mom's Group for lunch, building gingerbread houses and a little playtime. Well, the whole time was playtime for Jackson because he found the Little Tykes car. He spent the entire time playing with the car or patiently waiting for another kid to get out of it!

8 months!

I can't believe Annabelle's due date is 8 weeks from today and she will probably be here sooner than that - if she follow in her brother's footsteps! We can't wait to meet her!

I'm dreaming of a White December 17th

Well, if that was the case, my wish has come true. It is snowing here in Lubbock. So, what better to do than open and play with Christmas presents and snuggle up! Here are a few pics we have taken lately.

Jackson opened up a big truck in his new room. Notice the empty room and fabulous paint job. Thanks to the wonderful Daddy!

All Aboard!

Last night, Russell, Jackson and I boarded the Polar Express and headed to the North Pole. On the way, we sang songs, drank hot chocolate and ate cookies. When we arrived, we saw Santa and his Elves. They boarded the train and came back to Lubbock with us. On the way back, we talked to Santa and told him what we wanted for Christmas. He gave us all jingle bells and even sent one home for Annabelle.

We had a good time. Sometimes I think the parents have more fun than the kids. But, Jackson was a very good little boy and I think he had fun. He had an "amazed" look on his face most of the time. All the characters were a little crazy and got a little close but he didn't mind that at all. Notice in the one pic, he is literally running for the train. That boy loves a "choo train."

Early Christmas

Yesterday, we let Jackson open one of his gifts. He gets so much, I figured it would be more fun to spread out the excitement. Not to mention, we will be traveling and we won't be carrying his new toys with him so he might as well enjoy some of them now.

Also notice Jackson's new haircut. Russell took Jackson yesterday morning while I got to sleep in. We like it long but it was getting in his eyes so we just got a trim over his eyes and ears.

Jackson's gift was a new set of bath toys that included all kinds of musical instruments and some bath crayons and paints. Of course, he and Daddy tested them out last night.
