Dressing for Daddy

Annabelle has been wearing some of daddy's favorite things. When she was home sick, daddy came home in the afternoon to take over white I ran to a meeting. I put on her "Cowboys Princess" shirt that her daddy bought for her right after we found out we were having a girl. And, her cousin Rhodes got her this super cute Mississippi State outfit. Better wear it now, she can't wear it the week State plays LSU!

Fun in the Sun

Why ride your firetruck on the grass when you can stay cool in the pool?

Another playdate

Yesterday, Jackson and Cy had another playdate. Their favorite thing - playing in the sprinklers. They had a blast.

Playdate

Jackson and Cy haven't had a playdate in a few weeks. So, they finally got together on Sunday for some fun in the sun. Annabelle likes to hang out with the boys, too!

The UMC Campaign continues

This UMC hospital mailout arrived in the mail last week. It is our Annabelle. Our sweetie has become the face for their campaign. She was in the commercial, newspaper and now she is on the mailouts and brochures. We're so proud! Seeing her commercial and ads never gets old!

Playing hookie!

Daycare called yesterday because Annabelle had a fever. Luckily, I had plenty of time to get a doctor appointment. As it turns out, she has an ear infection. She is such a happy little girl. If it weren't for the fever, we would never know something is wrong. We are having a good time today. I had a box of toys for her for when she got "older." So we pulled those out this morning. I wish we could play like this everyday!

Our little artist and a giggly little girl

We got Jackson some bathtub colors. The last few weeks, it has not been too easy to get him in the tub because he knows that means he has to leave the playset and sandbox and come inside. Now, he loves to get in the tub because he gets his colors. Too bad, he hates getting out of the tub. Sheesh!

He also has a coloring game on the Ipad which is good because he can't make a mess with that! He tried to teach Annabelle how to use it. Such a sweet brother!

Boy, oh boy!

Our sweet Jackson has turned into a little boy. He gets into everything! He does the funniest things and he is such a blast to be around. He keeps us entertained. He loves putting on daddy's shoes. The cowboy boots were the best because they were longer than his legs. I wasn't fast enough with the camera but I'll work on that. He also loves a spray bottle. Time to hide all the cleaners! Luckily, I bought a bottle to hold water for morning hair repair! He has some crazy morning hair. He also loves his outdoor chalk. I thought outdoor chalk was such a great idea because it would prevent crayon messes in the house. Oh no, he managed to make plenty of messes with that, too!

A new toy

Last weekend, Russell got out the walker for Annabelle. Jackson thought it was a new toy for him. I found him sitting in it! He is so funny!

He is also the best big brother. He was worried Annabelle didn't have enough toys on the walker so he remedied the situation.

4th of July weekend

As you can see, I took lots of pics. Other than that, here's a rundown. On Saturday, we went to church and checked out a new restaurant, Blue Sky that has an outdoor area with a huge sandbox. Needless to say, Jackson didn't eat his dinner while we were there. When we got home, the kids played on the swingset. Sunday morning, mommy was glued to cosing arguments in the Casey Anthony trial. I have been watching for the last 6 weeks. Sunday afternoon, we cooked out and the Leach's came over for some fun. Monday morning, the daddy's played golf so Cy came over for a playdate. Monday afternoon we cooked out again and Maggie and Drew (the next door neighbor kiddos) came over. Later that evening, we had a spontaneous 4th of July parade with all the neighborhood kids. It was a fun, relaxing weekend.
