Childcare

For the past few weeks, Russell and I are working on childcare for when the baby is born. Russell is more anxious about proper childcare than I am! He asked me to set him an appointment. So, he started the process by touring a daycare on Monday. There are so many daycares around us to consider. Russell visited the daycare where our doctor keeps her children. He is such a good daddy already! We also are considering taking our baby to in-home childcare. Let us know any pros and cons of daycare verses in-home childcare.

Hey Mandi Bandi!! By in-home child care, do you mean you'd get a nanny to keep the baby at your house all the time? One thing that is good about having them go to a daycare is the social interaction. The bad thing though is the germs, so they get sick a lot. Miller's in Mother's Day Out right now, 2 days a week from 9:30am - 1:30pm and he doesn't get sick nearly as much as kids that are in full time daycare. I wonder if you could do Mother's Day Out 2 days a week and then have a nanny the rest of the week? I don't know if they do that or not? :) I got an email from Meryl today!! Yay! So, exciting!! Babies everywhere!! :)
