Oktoberfest

Yesterday we ventured out, despite the rainy weather, to Oktoberfest on the square in McKinney.  The kiddos were excited to get out of the house.  They saw many different animals, a pirate ship and lots of "punkins."  Wish the weather would have been better so we could have stayed longer but we still had a great time! 

Future Cowboys Cheerleader

I have been a terrible blogger lately!  So, so busy around here.  Nevertheless, I have lots of updates and will try to get them out.  I even have beach pics from about a month ago.  Not like me at all, I know. 

So, I week ago, Russell and I took Annabelle to her first Cowboys game.  She is 19 months old, the same exact age we took Jackson to his first game.  This could have been a bad experience.  Miss Priss has quite a personality.  But, it went really well.  She took an unusual morning nap so she was ready for a noon kickoff.  Daddy and I found the perfect spot to enjoy our favorite cheese steak where Annabelle had plenty of room to dance and make friends.  Our seats were surrounded with nice people including a guy with a daughter the same age. 

We did leave early but could have stayed longer since Annabelle was a happy girl.  We swung by the Cowboys shop on our way out so Daddy could get a souvenir.  Miss Priss racked up some goodies, too.  Daddy insisted she have a Cowboy's cheerleader uniform and we found a Cowboys cheerleader Minnie Mouse and matching blanket  They are now Annabelle's favorite.  Mmm Mouse (as Annabelle calls her) sleeps with Miss Annabelle every night!

We made it home in time to watch the Cowboys win the game from the comfort of our own living room.  We missed out sweet Jackson but he was having tons of fun himself with Mimi and Poppy.  They had lots of fun activities but that day they were at the Three Little Pigs with Uncle Chris!

Fall Fun!

Now that school kids are back at it, there are new activities and programs for the little ones. We are super excited about that. On Monday we went to storytime at the library which was stories and songs. Jackson also found the childrens computer which has lots of different games - including Dora! Tuesday was a music program. The kids really warmed up to it! They got to play instruments, sing and dance. We also got in some park time. We are having fun and enjoying Fall!

Little Miss!

We just got back from a long trip to the beach. We had fun, the kids had a BLAST! We are glad to be back home to get some rest and to enjoy the cooler weather. When we left the temps were in the 100s and today, I am not sure if we have even hit 70! Loving it!

I took so many pics from the beach I am feeling a little too lazy to download them all but I'll get around to it. For now, I wanted to do a little update on our quickly growing Miss Priss. She is saying new words everyday and she is becoming a little girl. Her favorite thing is "flowas" something she grew to love while we were at the beach. There were so many beautiful flowers for her to pick! She also loves her necklace which is Mardi Gras beads and she has her favorite first character - Minnie Mouse. She calls her Mmm Mouse! So precious!

Now that we are home, we are enjoying the fall season, planning for holidays and finding fun activities. Look for more posts since we have lots going on!

Cousins

Last week, cousin Anna came for a visit with Aunt Mona. We had fun but I didn't get many pics. Aunt Mona and I were very brave and ventured out with them. We went to eat dinner and we went shopping. It went really well. You just never know with these kiddos!

Labor Day weekend

Labor Day weekend was FUN for the whole family. We spent lots of time with our neighbors who we are becoming fast friends with. Yesterday they had a big party and we meet lots of other families in the neighborhood. We were there from 12:30 until 7:30 last night. Needless to say, I have two sleeping babies right now. They are catching up on some much needed rest!
