Rhodes and Jackson

A visit from Cee and cousin Rhodes

Cee and cousin Rhodes came in on Thursday for a visit and we are having such a good time. Rhodes and Russell went to the Main Event a big arcade and they have watched several movies. Today, we went to a Children's Museum where they were having Critterfest. They had lots of animals to see. Our favorites were the camels and the alpacas. Nevertheless, we had a good time and we took Rhodes to see some windmills afterwards. Right now, we are making Rhodes watch Ghostbusters for the first time and, of course, Rhodes is having his nightly popcorn snack. Good times!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all daddy's but especially to Russell. Russell is the best daddy in the world! He takes such good care of Jackson. There is nothing Russell wouldn't do for Jackson. And, Jackson feels the same. Jackson gets so excited anytime he sees Russell. Jackson is the luckiest little boy to have such an amazing Da-Da!

Happy Birthday Poppy and Happy Day to Jackson!

Jackson had his check-up at the specialist today and he did GREAT! His hearing was back to normal and he really impressed the nurses with his cute looks and charming personality. What a relief! We also want to wish Poppy a Happy Happy Birthday!

Shoes!

I picked up Jackson from school one day and some of the kids were outside (but not my Boo). The teacher said that Jackson could go outside if he wore his shoes. Jackson loves to be outside so the next day I brought a pair of brown sandals to leave at daycare and I got him to wear these blue shoes. He would much rather be in his bare feet or socks, at the most. So, he wasn't crazy about the shoes. To my surprise, the teacher said he kept his shoes on until naptime. Doesn't he look cute in his shoes!

Be sure to ignore the wet shirt! We must be getting a tooth because he is drooling like crazy this week. Luckily, we can't tell by his mood. Now that he has tubes, he has been the happiest baby in the world!

Thank you so much for all the well wishes and prayers for Jackson. He is doing much better and we are looking forward to spending a fun weekend with our healthy boy!

Home from the Hospital

We are home from Jackson's surgery and so far so good. The doctor said his ears looked better even as the surgery progressed so we are expecting quick results. I think his ears were pretty bad. Poor Baby.

Memorial Day Weekend

Two tired boys on Monday night after a long Memorial Day weekend.

We had a pretty relaxing weekend. No major plans except hanging out with the Leach's. Look how cute Jackson and Cy are in their smocked John Johns. After our cookout, Jackson got sick with a little stomach bug. He acted like he felt fine, which was good, but we will be glad to get our Baby Boy healthy again. We should have tubes in his ears in less than 24 hours!
