Russell went to Orlando earlier this week and he brought Jackson back this Spiderman outfit.

Back home, back at the window!

We have been getting in some window time since we have been home from the holidays. Also, I have some BIG baby news. I saw Jackson crawl for the first time tonight. We have had some weird scoots and squirms but no actual crawl. We went three crawls before falling down. I was super excited and started clapping and cheering. He saw me and started smiling and clapping for himself. It was SO cute! We can't wait for Daddy to see!

Home, at last!

Saturday, we got home from Austin were Jackson and I had been since December 23rd. (Luckily we got back just in time to watch the Cowboys kick off!) Russell came back to Lubbock for a few days between Christmas and before the New Year to wrap up end of the year work. So, Jackson and I were gone for almost three weeks and it feels good to be home. The unpacking is slightly overwhelming. I can't believe Jackson got so much stuff at Christmas. This morning, Jackson and I hung out in his room while I tried to get things organized . . . a big thanks to 18 gallon Rubbermaid buckets! Nevertheless, in case you were wondering why I have been slacking on the blog, now you know. I'll try to pick up the pace!

No, no, no!

I can't believe the time has come for us to teach Jackson the word, "no." As you can see from this video he can get into things! Some things are okay, like Poppy's office drawer but when he tries to eat the leaves off the indoor plants, we have had to start saying, "no." Fortunately, I think he understands what "no" means. Now, I need him to learn to obey this command. So far so good but I am sure there are some bumpy roads ahead!

As for all the screaming, he loves to hear his voice and if you talk back, he makes sure he responds louder.

After the last video, Jackson and I found a new game to play. I get into the office chair that has rollers and roll around the house while Jackson chases me. It is quite fun and hilarious! Russell, you are going to have a ball playing this game. Too funny!

Little Tiger Fan

Jackson is ready to cheer LSU on to a win over Penn State. It won't be easy for the Tigers but maybe they will get the year off to a good start. Happy 2010!

Jackson is celebrating New Year's Eve by opening more presents. Some of his gifts went to Lubbock and some arrived late in Austin. I didn't get a video on Christmas morning so here he is.

Yesterday, we took Jackson and Anna to see a Mickey Mouse show. It wasn't easy getting a good picture but, as you can see in the last pic, Jackson was excited to show his daddy his new friend, Mickey.
