Happy Halloween!

Halloween Hayride

Here are some sideways pics from the Halloween Hayride.  It was a blast.  The kids got way too many treats!  After the hayride, we had a neighborhood pizza party which happended to be in our cul-de-sac.  One of the neighbors brought some super cool Halloween tricks that were like crazy science experiements.  It was lots of smoke, bubbles and happy kiddos.  Jackson and Annabelle had so much fun!  Now, we are making plans for the real Halloween!    

Texas Tech v TCU = FUN!

Texas Tech was playing TCU in Fort Worth last weekend so Cee and Granny graciously kept our munchkins so Russell and I could go and spend the day with our good friends, the Leach's.  We had the BEST time!  I can't wait to plan our next visit. 

What made the weekend even more fun was that all of our teams won - Texas Tech (in triple overtime). LSU, Mississippi State, the Cowboys and the Saints.

Heard Museum

Last Thursday, Cee and Granny came for a visit.  On Friday, Cee and I took Jackson and Annabelle to the Heard Museum.  They had a life sized dinosaur exhibit that I just new Jackson would love.  As it turns out, these dinosaurs were a little too real for my sweet boy.  So, Cee carried Jackson through part of the exhibit. As usual, Miss Priss wasn't scared of anything! 

When we came home, Cee built Jackson his very own dinosaur exhibit in the backyard.  It is pretty cool.  I am taking good care of it this week while Jackson visits Cee and Fodder in Cleveland.  Hope my little guy is having fun but I miss my boy already.  We do have some super fun things in store for him when he gets home, though!

Golf outing

We finally made it to Top Golf, something Russell has been eager for us to do.  Before we went to play, we had to get Jackson his first set of golf clubs.  We had a great time playing golf.  Can't wait to go back!

Annabelle 20 months

Last week, Annabelle turned 20 months.  Can you believe we will be celebrating her second birthday so soon!?!

South Padre September 2012

Beach pics!  Only a month late, I know!  We had a great time in South Padre.  It was 8 days of nonstop activities with the munckins.  They loved the beach.  Annabelle talks about "beech" everyday and I have to tell her "the beach is closed until next year."  She loved hanging out with her Poppy, who she also asks for everyday.  While at the beach, we went to the sea turtle museum, the bird lookout and we rode on a pirate ship.  Jackson loved the pirate ship!  Can't wait to take them back to the beach!
