Kicking off Annabelle's Birthday week!
More sweet babies
Last week when Annabelle was recovering from her bug, we were eating dinner. Annabelle didn't eat much and got down from her highchair quickly. She crawled around while Jackson and I finished eating. Jackson was concerned because Annabelle barely touched her dinner. He didn't want her to be hungry so he was trying to feed Annabelle his dinner. She wasn't interested. I told Jackson that it was okay and explained that Annabelle's tummy hurt. He looked at me and said in a serious tone, "I can kiss it." So sweet. He knows his kisses always make Mommy feel better so why not Annabelle!

The road to recovery . . .
We are finally getting back to normal. Two weeks ago, Jackson had the stomach bug. Luckily, he got over it really quickly. But, this past week, I got sick. I never went to the doctor but it seemed to me that I had the flu, turned into stomach bug, turned into a cold. Not Fun! Then, Thursday afternoon, Annabelle got sick at school. Miss Priss doesn't seem to have her appetite back yet but she is definitely feeling better. So glad this is almost over!

She's got the groove!
Russell bought Jackson the movie "Rio." He put it on for him to watch. Annabelle heard the fun music and kept sneaking off to get a peek of the movie. She LOVES music and then she will start to move her arms along with the tunes. So cute!

Parent's Day Out
Yesterday, Russell and I went to the Texas Tech basketball game with the Leach's (sort of a late b'day celebration for Russell). We sat in the suite which is always a good time. Afterwards we went to a local favorite, Chimy's for margaritas, nachos and to watch part of the Texans/Cincinnati playoff game. We had a blast!
There was no rest for the weary. When we got home, the kiddos from next door wanted to come over and play. Russell had just as much fun as the kids.
Today has not been quite as fun. I woke up early to make a big breakfast before church. Jackson was eating slowly and started to cry. I looked up and he had gotten sick. Poor baby! He is doing really well, though. Other than they moments he is having the obvious stomach bug symptoms, he seems to be feeling fine. He just wants to play with his train set. This morning, Russell snuck off to the store for Powerade for Jackson and he got him another train to add to his collection. It was a train Jackson had been wanting. It was nice to see my sick baby so happy!
